Partnerships

The Foundation will develop protocols with other foundations, institutions, academies, universities (…) over the next few years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of these links may not be immediate, but certain partnerships are already being developed:

G7+ Lisboa is committed with the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas of the University of Lisbon, to establish a G7+ Litigation Prevention Studies Center, with the aim of developing academic work within the Foundation’s areas of activity. This project will allow the contribution and further integration of academics to the development of the Foundation’s Policy to Practice (PtoP) work, namely the joint development of the PtoP Project – A study on the impact of Covid-19 in fragile states, the results of which are expected to be presented in the course of 2021.

The Foundation will join the University of Coimbra, and will also have a Scholarship Support Unit, which will allow, in the future, the granting of scholarships to academic institutions in Portugal, in the area of sustainable development, as well as the Specialized Training Support Unit, which will allow to offer technical support to service officials with the Ministries of Finance and Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Member States.

Finally, the Hotel Schools/Cultural Warehouses Unit should be promoted with the Foundation’s technical support, aligning technical education with social inclusion for the promotion of qualified work, particularly women.
